Maternity Session with my wife ++ Loveland, CO

These are coming out a little late, but we just had a baby so life has been crazy as you could have guessed.

We kept putting off Maternity photos due to our "busy" schedules and ended up shooting ours when Bethany was 26 weeks along. We are thrilled with how they turned out and are glad that we finally got them processed and ready to print.

We hope that you enjoy the images and that they give you a better look into our lives and the joy of expecting a baby.

Rachel came to me inquiring about baby photos a month back. Her daughter Tatum was soon to be turning 7 months old and the last baby photos they had taken where "not them". Rachel wanted images that would capture the essence of here daughter in a modern, hip and fun way.

After numerous emails, a phone consultation and reviewing other works Rachel likes this is what we came up with. It's always a wonderful feeling knowing your client loves the images you took. Thank you Rachel for trusting me to truly capture the essence of your daughter.

There is no way to express the overwhelming joy and love we have experienced in the last month. To those who have had children this is nothing new to you, but to those who are expecting and/or have yet to have a baby, wow!

It has been nothing but sleepless nights, feedings, changings, naps and chaos for the last 4+ weeks, but it has been more than worth it. All I can say is that being a father has changed my life, and opened my eyes and heart up to a deeper more fuller love, that agape love that changes you forever.

I am so overwhelmed with thanks and gratitude to my wife Bethany who carried our child, labored through a grueling delivery and still continues to labor in caring for our daughter.

Amaliyah Miles Crigger was born on August 7th 2010 at 8:40pm. She weighed 7lbs 7oz, was 21 inches long and had a head full or red hair. Here are some images from the last month.

Asher ++ Portait Session at Heritage Square

We headed up to Heritage Square in Golden Colorado for Asher's 2 year old portraits. It was a so fun exploring the Victorian architecture and hiking trails in the area. I can't believe I never got the chance to go there as a kid.

Better go visit the alpine slide while there is still time. A strip mining company is going to be ripping through there in the next couple of years.
